Yokogawa Electric, a provider of systems and solutions for measurement, control, and information technologies, has acquired BaxEnergy, a provider of renewable energy management solutions (REMS). With this acquisition, Yokogawa has acquired access to a range of solutions provided by BaxEnergy that are adopted by power companies across Europe.

Through this relationship, we will be able to scale globally and provide power producers and process industry users with our intelligent data engineering and renewable energy management expertise, delivered through our data infrastructure and ecosystem of applications”.
Established in 2010, BaxEnergy provides flexible and scalable REMS. The company said that its REMS solutions integrate the management of a wide variety of renewable power generation facilities and can analyze data from turbines, inverters, and other types of power generation equipment from many different manufacturers to improve power generation efficiency.
