Invertix Raises $2 Million for AI-based Renewable Asset Tools

From: Mercom India

Invertix, a startup developing AI-powered software for renewable energy asset management, has raised €1.7 million (~$1.97 million) in pre-seed funding.

Vireo Ventures led the round, with participation from Italian Founders Fund and angel investors active in the energy and artificial intelligence sectors.

The company said it will use the proceeds to develop its platform, expand its team, and strengthen its commercial presence across Europe. Invertix also plans to extend its service beyond solar energy into wind, battery storage, and grid operations.

“The renewable energy sector needs more than incremental software improvements,” commented Felix Krause, Managing Partner at Vireo Ventures. “Invertix is tackling that with a team that is hungry, ambitious, deeply focused on customer value, and already translating vision into early results. That’s why we led their pre-seed,” Krause added.

Founded in 2026, Invertix has operations in Italy and Germany. The company develops what it calls “AI workers,” autonomous artificial intelligence agents designed to perform operational, analytical, and compliance tasks for solar projects, wind farms, and energy infrastructure.

The company said it currently manages more than 1.8 GW of solar capacity. It also said it is working on commercial opportunities representing more than 10 GW of energy capacity.

According to Mercom’s Q1 2026 Solar Funding and M&A report, global VC funding for the solar sector in Q1 2026 came to $1.1 billion in 17 deals, a 21% decrease YoY compared to $1.4 billion raised in 14 deals in Q1 2025. Funding increased 74% QoQ compared to the $606 million raised in 20 deals in Q4 2025.

In March 2026, Artemis (formerly Monalee), an AI-based software platform for solar and distributed energy companies, closed $6 million in funding. Long Journey and Copec WIND Ventures co-led the financing round along with Ludlow Ventures, Shrug Capital, Coalition Operators, Plug and Play Ventures, FJ Labs, Tribeca Ventures, Palm Tree Crew, and Scott Banister.
