Integrated Power Services (IPS), a provider of power management lifecycle services, has acquired Colorado-based Bold Renewables, a solar inverter maintenance and field services company, effective October 9, 2026.
The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Headquartered in Windsor, Bold Renewables provides original equipment manufacturer (OEM) field services, spare parts, and preventive maintenance for Advanced Energy central solar inverters under the Solaron, NX, TX, and PV Powered brands.
The company supports approximately 14,000 legacy solar inverters with a combined installed capacity of over 4 GW across more than 3,000 solar sites in the U.S. and Canada.
Bold holds the original OEM design drawings, blueprints, and firmware for these inverter platforms. It provides proprietary spare parts, technical support, preventive maintenance, and field services through technicians across North America. The company reports an average inverter uptime of 99%. Its customers include independent power producers, utilities, solar asset managers, site owners, and operations and maintenance service providers.
Following the acquisition, Bold will join IPS’ Motion division within its renewable energy services group, alongside ENA Electronics and IPS Folcroft.
The combined platform is expected to align solar and wind power electronics expertise, field service, engineering, component repair, logistics, and inventory resources to provide more complete support for renewable energy customers.
Headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina, IPS provides repair, field services, and replacement solutions for power infrastructure across North America, the United Kingdom, and the Caribbean.
IPS’s Motion and Electrification divisions provide lifecycle services for power management ecosystem, including battery energy storage systems, transformers, and switchgear, across fleets comprising equipment from multiple manufacturers.
