Vikram Solar Commissions 10 MW Solar Project for Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) in Andhra Pradesh

Vikram Solar, a PV module manufacturer and EPC solutions provider, commissioned a 10 MW solar project in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. The project will facilitate green power generation to cater to the energy needs of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).

The project is in an area of 66 acres. The land was provided by TTD, according to a company release. The generated power is being evacuated at 33 kv ratio and it is being fed to Mudivedu sub-station. The project will help curb 15,143.5 metric tons of CO2 emissions annually.

TTD is expected to save Rs.45 million (~$0.7 million) in utility bills after the commissioning of this project.
